Over my lunch today I braved the local mall to pick up a new BlackBerry phone. Well the parking lot was packed; in fact I played one of the great holiday games in which you literally follow people leaving the store out to their cars to get a parking space. Of course they move as slowly as a glacier to their 1993 Buick Century where they then sit with the engine running and their foot on the brake for three minutes before slowly pulling out.

Anyway almost two hours pass and I finally get out of the store with my new toy get back to work where I briefly surf over to CNN to see what is going on in the world. And what do I see right on the front page but an article with a tag line about the BlackBerry service possibly being shut off due to some legal dispute. Ah the irony!
