I found this to be an Interesting article that goes into quite a bit of detail regarding changes that are and are not occurring within the church. I found it especially interesting that the Pope seems to have a desire to confront the “moral collapse” in Europe and western society as a whole. He recently met with a “notorious dissident” of the church and an atheist. I presume that he may be trying to understand why so many seem to be distancing themselves from the Catholic Church.

By the way the new Pope’s name is Benedict XVI. I still have to stop and think about it every once and a while. And, on a serious note, Happy Easter.

This holiday really is about a whole lot more than a giant pink bunny. (For all my fellow “Westerners” that may have forgotten!)

Note: I took this picture of St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome in September. :-) Fancy that, original content on this website!

The Black Moon Project

“Cast your mind back 10 years and the veteran gamers amongst us would remember a time of two video game giants waging a war over supremacy for the 16-BIT platforms. Competition was fierce and of course you needed a mascot, SEGA had Sonic the Hedgehog and Nintendo Shigeru Miyamoto’s ingenious Mario creation.”

Includes screenshots.

Bill and Ted’s Excellent Musical Adventure Home

“Yes, it’s true . . . there has been a stage musical based on Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure! Well, sort of . . . let us explain . . . .

It was in 1992 that Dean Collinson, a singer, songwriter and actor, first saw the Bill and Ted movies and set about to write a musical version of our favorite movies with his writing partners Mick Walsh and Gene Jacobs. In October 1998, Dean Collinson would win the Vivien Ellis Award for Best New Musical Composer for the music to Bill & Ted’s Excellent Musical Adventure.”

Fluent NEWS - Winter 2001 - Shower Curtain Grabs Scientist – But He Lives to Tell Why

“Assistant professor David Schmidt from the University of Massachusetts has been puzzled by the annoying tendency of shower curtains to billow in during a shower and stick to the leg or arm of the person attempting to bathe.
