It’s really hard to tell for sure from this video but that doesn’t look like any kind of insect. If all of those “appendages” on its side are legs, like they appear to be, then there is no way it’s an insect. It doesn’t have any kind of clear body segmentation either which makes me think it’s no insect. Could be something closely related to centipedes and millipedes but I’m not sure. I think the more important question here is how do you keep up with these wacky videos?!:)
Mr O, look at the video again, especially the end. Ignore the large pole or whatever it is and focus on the relative size of the crack in the sidewalk. This thing is bigger than your average Wisconsin caterpillar or centipede!

That was quick response. I also read they curl up if touched like a pill bug.
As for how I keep up.. I didnt think I was.
