We've talked a lot about sub-species on this site and it can be somewhat confusing but this study is about discovering geographic pockets where two sub-species' habitats overlap. Could have some interesting effects on the population dynamics. Will they "re-breed" back in to one species? Food for thought…plus this was a chance to play with the new editor:)
