I found an awesome piece of motion graphics work today, which supports a great message. Click Here and go to the show reel. Then you will look for a piece entitled “What Barry Says”. Its absolutely beautiful, and, its such an interesting topic, I figured I needed to share it.

Finally, there is a little equality for the mac users. Teamspeak is no longer the sole domain of windows and linux gamers. While not being official, and being third party, it seems to load and work. Also, I have heard that ventrilo has released a client, but that its pre-alpha in quality.

So, I took the info from the post about video on an ancient iPod, and got my old “Brick” (2G) to run video. It was pretty easy once I realized that I had forgotten to update my kernel. So, now I have a Dual-Boot iPod, which can play 2-bit video.

Warning, this video requires h.264, so, get QT7 if it doesn’t work.

OS X on an XboX

Anandtech has a great 11 page teardown of an Xbox360 system, showing all the hardware inside their shipped unit. And, it appears there is an extra “case” around the HDD Module, but its a standard 2.5″SATA HD, so, that bodes well for putting an alternative os in there.
