Place your bets before watching the video. And it's real buffalo (of the African variety) not the so-called buffalo of America (which are actually bison). It's kind of a long video but stick with it, it's worth it.

Making Everyone’s Monday Morning Just a Little Bit BetterPosted by: Zoo Boy in Actual NewsHA! I win the race to post this first!…OK maybe the race was only in my own head…but I still win! This is pretty cool and quite logical from a scientific point of view. Those Benzene rings store a whole lot of energy! I'm actually a little disappointed that they cut the top of the head off on the front view but oh well. At least we got one! EDIT: These pictures were taken on the Marquette University campus. The exact location is on Wisconsin Ave about 1 block east of 16th St.; right outside Haggerty Hall (the Engineering building). I don't think I have seen this episode, seems like a newer one…but this clip had me laughing pretty darn hard! http://www.spikedhumor.com/articles/90372/Simpsons_Spoof.html I think all of us in the IT world have seen at least minor headaches with the DST change this year. This article looks at whether or not it was worth it and what is most disturbing to me is this line toward the end, "the bill has a provision for the country to return to the old daylight savings calendar". Ummm…I don't know about anyone else out there but I certainly don't want to go through all of this again in a couple of years. …and I, for one, welcome our new Primate Overlords http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/02/22/AR2007022201007.html This little video does a great job of looking at "weapons" from many angles. It also does a great job of blending the old school with the new school stuff. There are definitely some people who get too distracted by their cell phone or iPod while trying to do something else and end up doing something stupid or reckless but have we really come to this? There's a bigger issue at play here and that is the question of when government becomes too pervasive. When does the idea of punishing the masses for the faults of the few go too far? I would say this is one of those cases but others may disagree with me.. For all of the video game geeks out there. The animation on this is really well done. I was quite impressed. Especially his comments on Mac OS X.The guy is delusional. I think he's had his head buried in the sand for too long…or maybe somewhere else… |
