Kind of sad…

Random Polar Bear Factoids:

1. They have webbing between their toes to help swim long distances (see article)
2. Females go in to complete hibernation just before giving birth. They are out for 3 months and never feel a bit of pain.
3. Their fur is actually hollow and clear and they have black skin to absorb the sun’s heat.

Science or Religion?

Don’t know where everyone stands on this but I feel sorry for anyone who graduates from the Kansas school system and then has to face a science class at a university outside of the state. They will be behind their classmates. Plus how do you test students on Intelligent Design? Isn’t the answer for every question “because the Designer made it that way”? Hope I don’t offend anyone with this but the rigors of science are dear to my heart.
